WORD POWER! #3

The Word of God is given to us in different context in the Old  and New Testaments. Some of  His Words were meant to bring comfort. There are also times when His Words were spoken   to correct our behavior.

This week I'll share scriptures  about God's Word that were  used to comfort and guide you. There will also be Words from God that cut like a two edged sword when His people chose to reject it.

 

LIFE LESSON:

LIVE BY GOD'S WORD!

1 SAMUEL  9:27

As they were going down to the outskirts of the city,Samuel said to Saul, “Tell the servant to go on ahead of us.” And he went on. “But you stand here awhile,

that I may announce to you the word of God.”

2 SAMUEL  22:31

As for God, His way is perfect; The word

of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.

 

1 KINGS 13:5

The altar also was split apart, and

the ashes poured out from the altar, according to the sign which the man

of God had given by the word of the

Lord.

1 KINGS 17:24

Then the woman said to Elijah, “Now

by this I know that you are a man of God, and that the word of the

Lord in your mouth is the truth.”

JOB  15:11

Are the consolations of God too small

for you, And the word spoken gently

with you?

PSALM  18:30

As for God, His way is perfect; The word
