I have been burned by hot stove and steam from boiling water. The feeling of the heat on my skin was uncomfortable. I had to run cool water over the area for several minutes. The burning sensation left and I did not blister. The fire and brimstone from hell mentioned in the Bible sounds fierce. I don’t want to experience it. The scriptures also mentioned fire as it relates to the glory of the Lord. This  was a peaceful exercise , especially on stressful days. During my Bible study I read scriptures which showed that God declared His  glory in the clouds.
