ANY HOLY PLACES? #2
Things
have changed so much. There
are few places
in the church that are considered Holy.
I
still respect the sanctuary and pulpit
at
my church. I like knowing that
I am
able to keep something sacred in
this wicked world.
This week I am sharing some scriptures
from the Bible that discuss Holy Places.
It is refreshing for me to read about a
time when people respected holiness.

DEPICTION OF HOLY PLACE
LIFE LESSON:
SOME ARTIFACTS IN
HOLY PLACES
EXODUS 26:33
And you shall hang
the veil from the clasps. Then you shall bring the ark
of the Testimony in
there, behind
the veil. The veil shall be a divider
for you between the holy
place and
the Most Holy.
EXODUS 31:11
And the anointing oil
and sweet incense for the holy place. According to all that
I have commanded
you they shall do.
EXODUS 38:24
All the gold that was
used in all the
work of the holy place, that is, the
gold of the offering, was
twenty-nine talents and seven hundred and thirty shekels, according to the
shekel of the sanctuary.
2 CHRONICLES 3:10
In the Most Holy Place
he made two cherubim, fashioned by carving, and overlaid them with gold.
2 CHRONICLES 4:22
The trimmers, the bowls, the ladles,
and the censers of pure gold. As for
the entry of the sanctuary, its inner
doors to the Most Holy Place, and the doors of the
main hall of the temple,
were gold.
2 CHRONICLES 5:9
The poles extended so that the ends
of the poles of the ark could be seen
from the holy place,
in front of the
inner sanctuary; but they could not
be seen from outside. And
they are
there to this day.
