PERFECT GUIDEBOOK, FRIENDSHIP

It took me a while to realize you need to 
be careful where you get your advice from. 
Motherly advice is good sometimes.Advice 
from a friend can be useful too.Some people
use a mentor or their pastor when they need
serious counsel.

In later years we learned to use the Bible as
our guidebook on parenting, marriage, money, 
and relationships. I prayed for the Lord to grant
us His wisdom every day.The Bible was a perfect reference and guide because the scriptures are inspired by God. 


My parents stressed that you had to chose your
friends wisely.  They wouldn't like me be around 
girls who had a bad reputation.  My brothers did
not hang around boys who had criminal history.
My parents were afraid they would influence us
and make us rebellious. 

Today I am sharing scriptures that describe good
character traits for friends.  There are scriptures
in the Bible that show  people who had very good friends.


LIFE LESSON :

DON'T TRY TO JUDGE OTHERS WITHOUT ALL OF THE FACTS.

LISTEN TO THE GOOD ADVICE FROM YOUR FRIENDS

ESTHER 6:13

When Haman told his wife Zeresh and all his friends everything that had happened to him, his wise men and his wife Zeresh said to him, “If Mordecai, before whom you have begun to fall, is of Jewish descent, you will not prevail against him but will surely fall before him.”

JOB 2:11-13 

¹¹  Now when Job’s three friends heard of all this adversity that had come upon him, each one came from his own place— Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad 
the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite. For they
had made  an  appointment together to come and mourn with him, and to comfort him. 
12 And when they raised their eyes from afar, and
did not recognize him, they lifted their voices and wept; and each one  tore  his robe and sprinkled
dust on his head toward heaven.
¹³ So they sat down with him on the ground seven days and seven nights, and no one spoke a word

JOB 12:3-4

3  I am not inferior to you. Indeed, who does not

JOB 16:19-20

Therefore You will not exalt them.
