THERE IS HOPE FOR THE SICK! THE DEAF!

There is hope for people who are sick.
The scriptures in the Bible talk about 
people who had faith and believed in
our Lord Jesus.


I have already discussed people who
were infertile and blind.They had faith
and were healed.


 Today, I'll share scriptures about people  
who were deaf mutes.  One man had a 
problem with his speech.They had heard
about Jesus. They believed that he could 
heal them. 


MARK 7:31-37

31 Again, departing from the region of Tyre and Sidon, He (JESUS) came through the midst of the region of Decapolis to the Sea of Galilee.
32 Then they brought to Him one who was deaf and had an impediment in his speech, and they begged Him to put His hand on him..
33 And He took him aside from the multitude, and put His fingers in his ears, and He spat and touched his tongue.
34 Then, looking up to heaven, He sighed, and said to him, “Ephphatha,” that is, “Be opened.”
35 Immediately his ears were opened, and the impediment of his tongue was loosed, and he spoke plainly. 36 Then He commanded them that they should tell no one; but the more He commanded them, the more widely they proclaimed it. 
37 And they were astonished beyond measure, saying, “He has done all things well. He makes both the deaf to hear and the mute to speak.”



MATTHEW 9:31-33

31 But when they had departed, they spread the news about Him in all that country.

32 As they went out, behold, they brought to Him a man, mute and demon-possessed.
33 And when the demon was cast out, the mute spoke. And the multitudes marveled, saying, “It was never seen like this in Israel!”

MATTHEW 12:22-23 

22 Then one was brought to Him who was demon-possessed, blind and mute; and He healed him, 
so that the blind and mute man both spoke and saw. 
23 And all the multitudes were amazed and said, “Could this be the Son of David?”

DEPICTION OF ADAM & EVE WITH THEIR CHILDREN I say thank you to PBS for featuring TV shows  on researching your family tree by Heny Louis Gates, Jr.  The show was called, "Finding Your Roots". I enjoyed this show and and eventually became very good at family tree research. Genealogy was important during Bible days and the Bible book of Genesis gives us several family trees.
