GETTING HEALED UPDATE!

On 9/5/14,  in My Life Lesson For Today, I
discussed the subject of "Getting Healed",
I said:

LIFE LESSON:

Life can be  complicated and so can getting
healed sometimes. Some people get healed
instantly and some people do not get healed
right away.

I watched, It's Supernatural Show online on
9/14/14. The guest was Gordon Robertson,
host from 700 club.  He discussed healing.
He pointed out an  important fact that I had
overlooked or missed during my Bible study.
God commanded a healing to take place! Mr.
Robertson had faith and tried it when a boy
who was paralyzed was bought up  for his
legs to be healed. He looked at the boy and
shouted a command. This young boy stood
up and walked!

I was intrigued and went back and looked at
the healing scriptures. I  am showing lots of
scriptures that show Jesus giving commands
and people were healed:

LIFE LESSON:

JESUS COMMANDS GIRL TO RISE FROM DEAD!

MARK 9:35-36, 41-42

35 While He was still speaking, some came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house who said, “Your daughter is dead. Why trouble the Teacher any further?”
36 As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not be afraid; only believe.”

41 Then He took the child by the hand, and said to her, “Talitha, cumi,” which is translated, “Little girl, I say to you, arise.”
42 Immediately the girl arose and walked, for she was twelve years of age.

LIFE LESSON:

JESUS COMMANDS WOMAN WITH ISSUE OF BLOOD BE HEALED

MARK 9:25-34

25 Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years,
26 and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse.
27 When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment.
28 For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.”
29 Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction.
30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?”
31 But His disciples said to Him, “You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’
32 And He looked around to see her who had done this thing.
33 But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth.
34 And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”

LIFE LESSON:

JESUS GIVES COMMAND TO  LAZARUS,

JOHN 11: 5-7, 20-27, 38-44

Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus.
So, when He heard that he was sick, He stayed two more days in the place where He was.
Then after this He said to the disciples, “Let us go to Judea again.”

20 Now Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met Him, but Mary was sitting in the house.
21 Now Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.
22 But even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You.”
23 Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.”
24 Martha said to Him, “I know that he will rise again
in the resurrection at the last day.”
25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.
26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
27 She said to Him, “Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.”

38 Then Jesus, again groaning in Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it.
39 Jesus said, “Take away the stone.”
Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.”
40 Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?”
41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up
His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.
42 And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.”
43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with
a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!”
44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with grave clothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and
let him go.”

LIFE LESSON:

The prerequisite for all of their healings,
was that the people had to believe and
have faith. It is a blessing that a person
can have enough faith for their loved one
to be healed. Martha believed that Jesus
could raise Lazarus from the dead. Jesus
prayed to God the Father about Lazarus.
There are a number of situations involved
in a person's healing. The whole healing
process is sacred between Jesus and the
person needing the healing. The method
HE chooses to go about the healing is His
decision, not man's. HE decides if there is
enough faith present, not man. HE is the
ONE doing the healing regardless of how
it is done!! I am leery of anyone that does
not give God all the glory for performing
the healing.

Other people are not supposed to figure out
why a healing did not happen.  I do not think,
"They did not have enough faith or they must
be living an ungodly life". The Bible tells us:

ROMANS  3:22-24

22 even the righteousness of God, through
faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all  who
believe.For there is no difference;
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the
glory of God,
24 being justified freely by His grace through
the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,

 PROVERBS  3:5

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;

Mark 11:23

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall
say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and
be thou cast into the sea;  and shall not doubt
in his heart, but shall believe that those things
which  he  saith shall come to pass; he shall
have whatsoever he saith.
