I want to continue to share scriptures that helped   
me stay in the Christian Army. The 3 voices that 
have caused people conflict since Bible days are: 
The Voice of God, Your Voice and Flesh, and The
Voice of Satan. 

This week I will discuss the voice of satan. Today, 
I'll share scriptures giving stories about  people
who did not resist and listened to satan's voice. 
These people suffered had dire consequences.

He is full of lies and tricks. The Lord does not want
you to  be ignorant about this. He wants you to use 
His wisdom which is available with prayer and study
of His Word.

ANANIAS &  SAPPHIRA LISTENED TO SATAN AND LIED TO GOD. 




ACTS  5:1-4


1 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession.
 2 And he kept back part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles’ feet.
3 But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself?  
4 While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”



ACTS 5: 7-10
LIFE LESSON:

ANANIAS & SAPPHIRA 'S DECEITFUL BEHAVIOR RESULTS IN  THEIR DEATH


ACTS 5:5-6, 7-10

5 Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last. So great fear came upon all those who heard these things.
6 And the young men arose and wrapped him up, carried him out, and buried him.
7 Now it was about three hours later when his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. 
8 And Peter answered her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for so much?”
She said, “Yes, for so much.”
9 Then Peter said to her, “How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.”  
10 Then immediately she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. And the young men came in and found her dead, and carrying her out, buried her by her husband.

LIFE LESSON:
JUDAS LISTENS TO DEVIL AND BETRAYS JESUS.


MATTHEW  26:48-50   

48 Now His betrayer had given them a sign, saying, “Whomever I kiss, He is the One; seize Him.” 49 Immediately he went up to Jesus and said, “Greetings, Rabbi!” and kissed Him.
50 But Jesus said to him, “Friend, why have you come?”
Then they came and laid hands on Jesus and took Him. 

 LUKE 22:3-6  

3 Then Satan entered Judas, surnamed Iscariot,
who was numbered among the twelve. 
4 So he went his way and conferred with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray Him to them. 
5 And they were glad, and agreed to give him money.
6 So he promised and sought opportunity to betray Him to them in the absence of the multitude.


JOHN 13:2-3  

2 And supper being ended, the devil having already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, 
to betray Him,
3 Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and was going to God,

I enjoyed this show and and eventually became very good at family tree research. Genealogy was important during Bible days and the Bible book of Genesis gives us several family trees.
