LIFE LESSON FOR TODAY, 8/11/14

Today will be the last day for my discussion about heaven. I'll share scriptures which talk about the rewards of going to heaven and The Lamb's Book 
of Life.








 LIFE LESSON:

 THERE ARE REWARDS FOR THE RIGHTEOUS BELIEVERS IN HEAVEN!

PSALM 16:11  

You will show me the path of life;
In Your presence is fullness of joy;
At Your right hand are pleasures 
forevermore.

MATTHEW 5:12   

Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

MATTHEW 5: 19



 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

LUKE 12:32
 
“Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.


MATTHEW 25:46  

And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life



1 CORINTHIANS  2:9

But as it is written:
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man 
The things which God has prepared for
those who love Him.”
 

REVELATION 21:4 

And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”









LIFE LESSON:

 THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN JESUS RETURNS:


MATTHEW 24:30-31 

30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 
31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

1 CORINTHIANS 5:52

52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

HEBREWS  13:14 

For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.


REVELATION  3:3       
Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. 

Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.


REVELATION  7:9

After these things I looked, and behold, a
great multitude which no one could number
of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, 
standing before the throne and before the
Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm
branches in their hands,


REVELATION  14:7

Saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give 
glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has 
come; and worship Him who made heaven and
earth, the sea and springs of water.”







LIFE LESSON:

THIS IS WHAT HAPPEN IN THE THRONE ROOM ON JUDGEMENT DAY


REVELATION  4:1-5

1 After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which
I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying,
Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.”
2 Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne.
3 And He who sat there was like a jasper and 
a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald.
4 Around the throne were twenty-four thrones,
and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders 
sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had 
crowns of gold on their heads.
5 And from the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices. Seven lamps of 
fire were burning before the throne, which 
are the seven Spirits of God.






 
LIFE LESSON:

THE LAMB'S  BOOK OF LIFE


EXODUS  32:33    

And the Lord said to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot him out of My book.


DANIEL  12:1  

“At that time Michael shall stand up,The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; And there shall be a time of trouble, Such as never was since there was a nation, Even to that time.And at that time your people shall be delivered, Every one who is found written in the book.


REVELATION  3:5            


He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name
from the Book of Life; but I will confess his
name before My Father and before His angels.


REVELATION  5:1      

And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on 
the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals.


REVELATION  5:9  

And they sang a new song, saying:

“You are worthy to take the scroll,
And to open its seals; For You were 
slain,And have redeemed us to God 
by Your blood Out of every tribe and
tongue and people and nation,

REVELATION  21:27 

And there shall in no wise enter into it any 
thing that defileth,neither [whatsoever] 
worketh abomination, or [maketh] a lie: 
but they which are written in the Lamb's 
book of life.







LIFE LESSON

WE WILL HAVE  A NEW HEAVEN & EARTH

2 PETER  3:13 

Nevertheless we, according to his promise,
look for new a heaven and a new earth,
wherein  dwell righteousness.


REVELATION  21:1 

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the 
first heaven and the first earth were passed away;
and there was no more sea.

I enjoyed this show and and eventually became very good at family tree research. Genealogy was important during Bible days and the Bible book of Genesis gives us several family trees.
