THE HEAVENLY SKIES DISPLAY GLORY!

I recently read an article discussing the sky, stars, and heaven. It inspired me to read about the firmament of heaven.The scriptures show how the creation of the heavens display God's power and glory.





LIFE LESSON:



LOOK UP AND SEE GOD’S GLORY!





DEUTERONOMY 10:14



Indeed heaven and the highest heavens belong to the Lord your God, also the earth with all that is in it.



1 CHRONICLES 16:26



For all the gods of the peoples are idols, But the Lord made the heavens.



NEHEMIAH  9:6



You alone are the Lord; You have made heaven, The heaven of heavens, with all their host, The earth and everything on it, The seas and all that is in them, And You preserve them all. The host of heaven worships You.




PSALM 8:3





When I consider Your heavens, the work 
of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained,



  

PSALM 19:1





The heavens declare the glory of God; 
And the firmament shows His handiwork.





AMOS 9:6





He who builds His layers in the sky, And has founded His strata in the earth; Who calls for the waters of the sea, And pours them out on the face of the earth— The Lord is His name.

DEPICTION OF ADAM & EVE WITH THEIR CHILDREN I say thank you to PBS for featuring TV shows  on researching your family tree by Heny Louis Gates, Jr.  The show was called, "Finding Your Roots". I enjoyed this show and and eventually became very good at family tree research. Genealogy was important during Bible days and the Bible book of Genesis gives us several family trees.
