The word river is mentioned several times in the Bible.
the river was important for many reasons. Of course
during Bible days, people crossed over rivers daily 
when traveling and fishing for food.  

 There are many important events that happened when 
The Lord was involved with the river. This week I'll share scriptures that discuss some of these events.

LIFE LESSON:

 THE LORD CREATED FOUR RIVERS IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN.

 GENESIS 2:10, 13-14
10 Now a river went out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it parted and became four river heads.
13 The name of the second river is Gihon; it is the one which goes around the whole land of Cush.
14 The name of the third river is Hiddekel; it is the one which goes toward the east of Assyria. The fourth river is the Euphrates.

I enjoyed this show and and eventually became very good at family tree research. Genealogy was important during Bible days and the Bible book of Genesis gives us several family trees.
