HAS NOAH'S ARK BEEN FOUND?
I had never heard of an ark until I read
the Bible. I found reference to two types of arks. One of the arks mentioned was like a ship. I learned about a man named Noah who received instructions from the Lord. He had specific details for building the ark. He did not care about what the people thought about him. He had faith
and was he committed to finishing the ark.

GENESIS 6: 14-16
14 Make yourself an ark of gopher wood; make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with pitch.
15 And this is how you shall make it: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits.
16 You shall make a window for the ark, and you shall finish it to a cubit from above; and set the door of the ark in its side. You shall make it with lower, second, and third decks.
GENESIS 6: 19
And of every living thing of all flesh you shall bring two of every sort into the ark, to keep them alive with you; they shall be male and female.

The second type of ark is a chest that
was sacred to the Israelites in the Bible days.
The movie "Raiders of the Lost Ark,
featuring character, Indiana Jones is
based on his quest to locate this ark.
REPLICA OF ARK OF THE COVENANT
The Bible refers this ark as the Ark
of the Covenant in the Bible. The
Lord gave Moses specific instructions
for the construction of the ark of the covenant.

According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it.

it as a gift to the church.

The tribe of Levi was in charge of the ark of the covenant for a period of time. King Solomon built a room in his temple for the ark of the covenant.

At that time the Lord separated the tribe of Levi to bear the ark of the covenant of the Lord, to stand before the Lord to minister to Him and to bless in His name, to this day.

6 Then the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the Lord to its place,into the inner sanctuary of the temple,
to the Most Holy Place, under the wings
of the cherubim.
7 For the cherubim spread their two wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubim overshadowed the ark and its poles.
8 The poles extended so that the ends of the poles could be seen from the holy place, in front of the inner sanctuary; but they could not be seen from outside. And they are there to this day.
9 Nothing was in the ark except the two tablets of stone which Moses put there at Horeb, when the Lord made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.
PRIESTS CROSSING OVER JORDAN RIVER
The Bible also tells us that the ark of the covenant had to be moved sometimes. It was take over the Jordan River.
JOSHUA 3:6, 8, 17
6 Then Joshua spoke to the priests, saying, “Take up the ark of the covenant and cross over before the people.” So they took up the ark of the covenant and went before the people.
8 You shall command the priests who bear the ark of the covenant, saying, ‘When you have come to the edge of the water of the Jordan, you shall stand in the Jordan.’”
17 Then the priests who bore the ark of the covenant of the Lord stood firm on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan; and all Israel crossed over on dry ground, until all the people had crossed completely over the Jordan.
