NEW IN JESUS, #3

SUNRISE MEANS A NEW DAY

The word new makes me think of a new life, a new baby, new clothes, and a new house. Some people may get images of  something fresh, beautiful, or  perfect.

I love the springtime because God
allows nature to come alive. The
trees get new leaves on their limbs
and branches. The plants get new
blooms and flowers.The very sweet
smell of the magnolia and gardenia
flowers can be intoxicating.

The Bible uses the word "new" many
times. The Lord created a new world
for His children to live.  He has the
power to make old things new again.

This week I will share scriptures that
discuss the relationship between the Lord and things made new.

LIFE LESSON:
DEDICATE YOUR NEW HOME TO THE LORD!

DEUTERONOMY 20:5

“Then the officers shall speak to the people, saying: ‘What man is there who has built a new house and has not dedicated it? Let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the battle and another man dedicate it.

DEUTERONOMY 22:8

“When you build a new house, then you shall make a parapet for your roof, that you may not bring guilt of bloodshed on your household if anyone falls from it.
