The word new makes me think of a new life, a new baby,new clothes, and a new house. Some people may get images of  something fresh, beautiful, or  perfect. 
 
I love the springtime because God allows nature to come alive. The 
trees get new leaves on their limbs
and branches. The plants get new 
blooms and flowers.The very sweet
smell of the magnolia and gardenia 
flowers can be intoxicating. 

The Bible uses the word "new" many
times. The Lord created a new world 
for His children to live.  He has the 
power to make old things new again. 

This week I will share scriptures that
discuss the relationship between the 
Lord and things made new.

LIFE LESSON:

 OFFER THE LORD ALL THINGS NEW!
LEVITICUS 23:16
Count fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath; then you shall offer 
a new grain offering to the Lord.
 
NUMBERS 28:26
 
Also on the day of the firstfruits, when you bring a new grain offering to the 
Lord at your Feast of Weeks, you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do 
no customary work.

DEPICTION OF ADAM & EVE WITH THEIR CHILDREN I say thank you to PBS for featuring TV shows  on researching your family tree by Heny Louis Gates, Jr.  The show was called, "Finding Your Roots". I enjoyed this show and and eventually became very good at family tree research. Genealogy was important during Bible days and the Bible book of Genesis gives us several family trees. Today I am showing Adam and Eve’s family tree.
