BEWARE OF THE EVIL HEART! #3

It is sad to say I can encounter evil everywhere.Some of the T.V. shows 
spew evil actions and words like it 
is no big deal. I do know better, so
I am selective. I do avoid T.V. shows 
and books with witchcraft, sorcery,
and excessive violence. The truth is,
all my Adversary needs is a crack in 
the door.

The Bible also warns me not to have
an evil heart. Of course, an evil heart
leads to sin and evil actions.

Here are some scriptures that I studied about this subject:

  

LIFE LESSON:

 EVIL THOUGHTS CAN LEAD TO EVIL HEART

 
JEREMIAH 16:12


And you have done worse than your fathers, for behold, each one follows the dictates of his own evil heart, so that no one listens to Me.
DANIEL 11:27
 
Both these kings’ hearts shall be bent on evil, and they shall speak lies at the same table; but it shall not prosper, for the end will still be at the appointed time.

ZECHARIAH 8:17

Let none of you think evil in your heart against your neighbor; And do not love a false oath. For all these are things that I hate,’ Says the Lord.”

MATTHEW 12:35


A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.

For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God;

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

DEPICTION OF ADAM & EVE WITH THEIR CHILDREN I say thank you to PBS for featuring TV shows  on researching your family tree by Heny Louis Gates, Jr.  The show was called, "Finding Your Roots". I enjoyed this show and and eventually became very good at family tree research. Genealogy was important during Bible days and the Bible book of Genesis gives us several family trees.
