BARREN WOMEN IN THE BIBLE
 
There are women in the Bible  who 
were barren.  They could  not have children.This type  of problem could
mar the  reputation of some women
 in Biblical times.Most of have  heard
of barren women named  Sarah and Hannah.The main role of women was
to bare and  raise children in Biblical times.

This week I'll feature daily scriptures which tells us about barren women in the Bible. These women learned that faith and patience were the keys to their blessings.


 SCRIPTURES FOR WEDNESDAY:

GENESIS  25:21


Now Isaac pleaded with the Lord for his wife, because she was barren; and the Lord granted his plea, and Rebekah his wife conceived.


Luke 1:7

But they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren, and they were both well advanced in years.

DEPICTION OF ADAM & EVE WITH THEIR CHILDREN I say thank you to PBS for featuring TV shows  on researching your family tree by Heny Louis Gates, Jr.  The show was called, "Finding Your Roots". I enjoyed this show and and eventually became very good at family tree research. Genealogy was important during Bible days and the Bible book of Genesis gives us several family trees. Today I am showing Adam and Eve’s family tree.
