LIFE LESSON FOR TODAY, 7/8/14
I never believed in the Darwin Theory or The Big Bang Theory. I could not be convinced that I evolved from an ape in elementary school. The wind blowing on my face and the rising and setting of the sun caused me to believe in a "higher power". I have no problem believing "in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth".
I do not argue with people about their beliefs. Everyone has a right to believe what they want.
I'll be held responsible for my beliefs and actions when Jesus returns.This my main concern in life.
This week, I want to share Scriptures from the
Bible which describe Miracles that happened in
the Old and New Testaments.
Today, I'll share scriptures about Creation. This is
the most important Miracle in my opinion.
LIFE LESSON:
GOD CREATED EVERYTHING ON THE EARTH & HEAVENS IN SEVEN DAYS.
GENESIS 1:1-31 ( NOT CONSECUTIVE)
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness.
5 God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.
8 And God called the firmament Heaven.
10 And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas.
And God saw that it was good.
12 And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
21 So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
25 And God made the beast of the earth according to its kind, cattle according to its kind, and everything that creeps on the earth according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
30 Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food”; and it was so.
31 Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
GENESIS 2:3
3 Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.
LIFE LESSON:
CREATION OF MAN & WOMAN
GENESIS 2: 5-7
5 ... and there was no man to till the ground; For the Lord God had not caused it to rain on the earth, and there was no man to till the ground;
6 but a mist went up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground.
7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.
GENESIS 2:15, 18, 21-22
15 Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.
18 And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.
21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place.
22 Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.
