The Bible shows that many people were blessed  by the Lord Jesus.
Many also forgot their blessings, became ungrateful,  and started complaining.
The Lord was not pleased with these people.

The scriptures that I am sharing today detail what happened to some of the
people who complained.

LIFE LESSON:

COMPLAINERS FACE CONSEQUENCES!

NUMBERS 11:1

Now when the people complained, it displeased the Lord; for the Lord heard it, and His anger was aroused. So the fire of the Lord burned among them, and consumed some in the outskirts of the camp.

NUMBERS 14:29

The carcasses of you who have complained against Me shall fall in this wilderness, all of you who were numbered, according to your entire number, from twenty years old and above.

NUMBERS 16: 19-21, 44-45, 49-50

19 And Korah gathered all the congregation against them at the door of the tabernacle of meeting. Then the glory of the Lord appeared to all the congregation.
20 And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying,
21 “Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.”

44 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

45 “Get away from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.” And they fell on their faces.

49 Now those who died in the plague were fourteen thousand seven hundred, besides those who died in the Korah incident.

50 So Aaron returned to Moses at the door of the tabernacle of meeting, for the plague had stopped.

DEUTERONOMY1: 34-36, 38

34 “And the Lord heard the sound of your (ISRAEL) words, and was angry, and took an oath, saying,

35 ‘Surely not one of these men of this evil generation shall see that good land of which I swore to give to your fathers,

36  Except Caleb the son of Jephunneh; he shall see it, and to him and his children I am giving the land on which he walked, because he wholly followed the Lord.’

38 Joshua the son of Nun, who stands before you, he shall go in there. Encourage him, for he shall cause Israel to inherit it.

Paul gives the Corinthians examples to
live by. He tells them about Moses and
what happened when the Israelites were disobedient and complained. The following scriptures give more details.

LIFE LESSON:

EXAMPLES TO LIVE BY

1 CORINTHIANS 10: 2-11

All were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea,

All ate the same spiritual food,

4  And all drank the same spiritual drink.
For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ.

But with most of them God was not well pleased, for their bodies were scattered in the wilderness.
