YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL! #2

The topics in the Bible are so vast,
that I over-looked it's comments
about beautiful people.  I recently
decided to study this interesting
topic.

Today, I’m sharing some more scriptures that discuss people that were considered lovely or beautiful.

LIFE LESSON:

LABAN'S BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER, RACHEL

GENESIS 29:6, 9, 11-12, 16-17, 25, 28,30

6 So he said to them, “Is he well?”
And they said, “He is well. And look,
his daughter Rachel is coming with the sheep.”

9 Now while he was still speaking with them, Rachel came with her father’s
sheep, for she was a shepherdess.

11 Then Jacob kissed Rachel, and
lifted up his voice and wept.

12 And Jacob told Rachel that he
was her father’s relative and that
he was Rebekah’s son. So she ran
and told her father.

16 Now Laban had two daughters:
the name of the elder was Leah,
and the name of the younger was
Rachel.

17 Leah’s eyes were delicate, but
Rachel was beautiful of form and appearance.

25 So it came to pass in the morning, that behold, it was Leah. And he said to Laban, “What is this you have done to me? Was it not for Rachel that I served you? Why then have you deceived me?”

28 Then Jacob did so and fulfilled her week. So he gave him his daughter Rachel as wife also.

30 Then Jacob also went in to Rachel, and he also loved Rachel more than Leah. And he served with Laban still another seven years.

LIFE LESSON:

RUTH, THE VIRTUOUS WOMAN

RUTH 3:1, 3-4, 8-11

1 Then Naomi her mother-in-law said to her, “My daughter, shall I not seek security for you, that it may be well with you?

Therefore wash yourself and anoint yourself, put on your best garment and go down to the threshing floor; but do not make yourself known to the man until he has finished eating and drinking.

Then it shall be, when he lies down, that you shall notice the place where he lies; and you shall go in, uncover his feet, and lie down; and he will tell you what you should do.”

Now it happened at midnight that the man was startled, and turned himself; and there, a woman was lying at his feet.
And he said, “Who are you?”
So she answered, “I am Ruth, your maidservant. Take your maidservant under your wing, for you are a close relative.”
10 Then he said, “Blessed are you of the Lord, my daughter! For you have shown more kindness at the end than at the beginning, in that you did not go after young men, whether poor or rich.
11 And now, my daughter, do not fear. I will do for you all that you request, for all the people of my town know that you are a virtuous woman.

RUTH 4: 13-14

13 So Boaz took Ruth and she became his wife; and when he went in to her, the Lord gave her conception, and she bore a son.
14 Then the women said to Naomi, “Blessed be the Lord, who has not left you this day without a close relative; and may his name be famous in Israel
