HOLY WEEK!

Holy Week is an awesome  time for me
because it celebrates the precious
gift Jesus Christ  gave us. I take a
personal communion at 6 pm during
this time.  This allows me to meditate
and give honor to my Savior!

 



LIFE LESSON:

 HOLD UP PALM LEAVES!
LEVITICUS 23:40
 
And you shall take for yourselves on the first day the fruit of beautiful trees, branches of palm trees, the boughs of leafy trees, and willows of the brook; and you shall rejoice before the Lord your God for seven days.
NEHEMIAH 8:15
 
 
And that they should announce and proclaim in all their cities and in Jerusalem, saying, “Go out to the mountain, and bring olive branches, branches of oil trees, myrtle branches, palm branches, and branches of leafy trees, to make booths, as it is written.”

MARK 11:7-10

 7 Then they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their clothes on it, and He sat on it.  8 And many spread their clothes on the road, and others cut down leafy branches from the trees and spread them on the road. 
 9 Then those who went before and those who followed cried out, saying:
“Hosanna!
‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’
10 Blessed is the kingdom of our father David
That comes in the name of the Lord!
Hosanna in the highest!”

DEPICTION OF ADAM & EVE WITH THEIR CHILDREN I say thank you to PBS for featuring TV shows  on researching your family tree by Heny Louis Gates, Jr.  The show was called, "Finding Your Roots". I enjoyed this show and and eventually became very good at family tree research. Genealogy was important during Bible days and the Bible book of Genesis gives us several family trees. Today I am showing Adam and Eve’s family tree.
