DISPLAY: 
THE  MAJESTY OF GOD'S CREATION!!
I think of strong men when I use
the word power.  I have a vision
of a weightlifter bench pressing
200 pounds!

There is someone more powerful 
than any man, it's God. This week 
I'll share scriptures which discuss  
His power and the many ways He  
used it to save His people.


LIFE LESSON:

CONTINUE TO EXPERIENCE GOD'S POWER





2 KINGS 17:36

But the Lord, who brought you up from the land of Egypt with great power and
an outstretched arm,Him you shall fear, Him you shall worship, and to Him you shall offer sacrifice.


1 CHRONICLES 29:11-12

11 Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, 
The power and the glory,The victory
and the majesty;  For all that is in 
heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours
is the kingdom, O Lord, And You are exalted as head over all.
12 Both riches and honor come 
from You, And You reign over all.
In Your hand is power and might; 
In Your hand it is to make great 
And to give strength to all.
 
2  CHRONICLES  25:8

But if you go, be gone! Be strong 
in battle! Even so,God shall make 
you fall before the enemy;for God
has power to help and to overthrow.

CALLED BY THE LORD, PART 6

DEPICTION OF JONAH RUNNING AWAY FROM THE LORD I was doing Bible study one night and it became clear to me that, Noah, Moses, Jonah, Deborah, Jael, Lydia, Seller of Purple, Rehab, The Twelve Disciples, and Paul were all CALLED by God. The Lord may require  some people to carry out a special task.There will be others that may be required to minister His Word and  travel around the world as a missionary.      This week I'll share scriptures about different men  and women that were called by the Lord. Some of these people were rebellious and did not want to answer His call.  All eventually did the Lord's will. Today, I will share scriptures which discuss that the Lord CALLED a man named Jonah.  He did not want to answer the Lord's call and ran away.  There were consequences to Jonah's actions.
