The Bible has a lot to say about gift giving. This week I'll share  scriptures about, the gifts we  give to God and the gifts God gives to us.
LIFE LESSON:

 MORE GIFTS FROM GOD!
ECCLESIASTES 3:13 



and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor
—it is the gift of God.

ECCLESIASTES  5:19

As for every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, and given him power 
to eat of it, to receive his heritage and
rejoice in his labor—this is the gift of 
God.


MATTHEW  7:11

If you then, being evil, know how to 
give good gifts to your children, how
much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who 
ask Him!
 
ACTS  8:20

But Peter said to him, “Your money 
perish with you, because you thought 
that the gift of God could be purchased with money!"

JAMES 1: 17

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

CALLED BY THE LORD, PART 6

DEPICTION OF JONAH RUNNING AWAY FROM THE LORD I was doing Bible study one night and it became clear to me that, Noah, Moses, Jonah, Deborah, Jael, Lydia, Seller of Purple, Rehab, The Twelve Disciples, and Paul were all CALLED by God. The Lord may require  some people to carry out a special task.There will be others that may be required to minister His Word and  travel around the world as a missionary.      This week I'll share scriptures about different men  and women that were called by the Lord. Some of these people were rebellious and did not want to answer His call.  All eventually did the Lord's will. Today, I will share scriptures which discuss that the Lord CALLED a man named Jonah.  He did not want to answer the Lord's call and ran away.  There were consequences to Jonah's actions.
