GOD'S LOVE 4 U!
This week couples are thinking
about how to express their love
on Valentine's Day. Most stores
are stocking Teddy bears, roses,
and candy.
I'll admit I have done my share of
buying special gifts for my spouse
for Valentine's Day. I always tried
to do something special each year.
My challenge was to make the gift
or dinner more special than the
previous year. He really seemed
to appreciate my efforts.
There is a love that is the best love
in the world. It is agape love. This
means the love God has for us. His
love is unconditional and He sent
His son to die for the sins of the
world.
LIFE LESSON:
LEARN THE MEANING OF AGAPE LOVE!
MALACHI 1:2
“I have loved you,” says the Lord. “Yet you say, ‘In what way have You loved us?’
Was not Esau Jacob’s brother?” Says the Lord. “Yet Jacob I have loved;
JOHN 3:16
For God so loved the world that
He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him
should not perish but have ever
lasting life.
Jesus said to them, “If God were
your Father, you would love Me,
for I proceeded forth and came
from God; nor have I come of
Myself, but He sent Me.
ROMANS 5:5, 8
5 Now hope does not disappoint,
because the love of God has been
poured out in our hearts by the
Holy Spirit who was given to us.
8 But God demonstrates His own
love toward us, in that while we
were still sinners, Christ died for
us.
nor height nor depth, nor any
other created thing, shall be
able to separate us from the
love of God which is in Christ
Jesus our Lord.
2 CORINTHIANS 13: 11, 14
Christ, and the love of God, and
the communion of the Holy Spirit
be with you all. Amen.
EPHESIANS 2: 4
But God, who is rich in mercy, because
of His great love with which He loved us.
EPHESIANS 3:19
1 TIMOTHY 6:11
to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
But when the kindness and the love of
God our Savior toward man appeared.
1 JOHN 3: 1
Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did
not know Him.
1 JOHN 4:10, 16
10 In this is love, not that we loved
God, but that He loved us and sent
His Son to be the propitiation for
our sins.
16 And we have known and believed
the love that God has for us. God is
love, and he who abides in love abides
in God, and God in him.
