I think of strong men when I use  the word power.  I have a vision  of a weightlifter bench pressing  200 pounds!

There is someone more powerful than any man, it's God. This week I'll share scriptures which discuss  His power and the many ways He  used it to save His people.


LIFE LESSON:

EXPERIENCE  GOD'S POWER



EXODUS 10:19



And the Lord turned a very strong
west wind, which took the locusts 
away and blew them into the Red
Sea.There remained not one locust 
in all the territory of Egypt.



EXODUS 14: 21-22



21 Then Moses stretched out his hand 
over the sea; and the Lord caused the
sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided.

22 So the children of Israel went into
the midst of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.



EXODUS 15:6



Your right hand, O Lord, has become glorious in power; Your right hand, O 
Lord, has dashed the enemy in pieces.

  

DEUTERONOMY 4:37



And because He loved your fathers, therefore He chose their descendants after them; and He brought you out of Egypt with His Presence, with His mighty power,
 

DEUTERONOMY  9:29



Yet they are Your people and Your inheritance, whom You brought out
by Your mighty power and by Your

outstretched arm.’

CALLED BY THE LORD, PART 6

DEPICTION OF JONAH RUNNING AWAY FROM THE LORD I was doing Bible study one night and it became clear to me that, Noah, Moses, Jonah, Deborah, Jael, Lydia, Seller of Purple, Rehab, The Twelve Disciples, and Paul were all CALLED by God. The Lord may require  some people to carry out a special task.There will be others that may be required to minister His Word and  travel around the world as a missionary.      This week I'll share scriptures about different men  and women that were called by the Lord. Some of these people were rebellious and did not want to answer His call.  All eventually did the Lord's will. Today, I will share scriptures which discuss that the Lord CALLED a man named Jonah.  He did not want to answer the Lord's call and ran away.  There were consequences to Jonah's actions.
