PROMISE OF THE COMING OF
JESUS CHRIST!




During my Bible study, I discovered there 
was mention of the Coming of Jesus in 
the Old Testament. This was an awesome 
discovery for me. Once again, I see that 
I  can never get too much Bible 
knowledge!  The Lord blesses me with
the spiritual perception of His Word each 
time I read it!

Today I am sharing the remainder of the 
scriptures ) discovered which discuss 
the prophecy/promise of Jesus Christ:




ISAIAH 7: 14


Therefore the Lord himself shall give you 
a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, 
and bear a son, and shall call his name 
Immanuel.


NOTE :

CONFIRMS THIS PROMISE:



MATTHEW 1: 21-23

21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call His name Jesus: for he 
shall save His people from their sins.
22 Now all this was done, that it might be
fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by
the prophet, saying,
23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and 
shall bring forth a son, and they shall call 
His name Emmanuel, which being 
interpreted is, God with us.




ISAIAH 9:6


For unto us a child is born, unto us a son
is given: and the government shall be 
upon His shoulder: and his name shall be
called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty 
God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince 
of Peace.

CALLED BY THE LORD, PART 6

DEPICTION OF JONAH RUNNING AWAY FROM THE LORD I was doing Bible study one night and it became clear to me that, Noah, Moses, Jonah, Deborah, Jael, Lydia, Seller of Purple, Rehab, The Twelve Disciples, and Paul were all CALLED by God. The Lord may require  some people to carry out a special task.There will be others that may be required to minister His Word and  travel around the world as a missionary.      This week I'll share scriptures about different men  and women that were called by the Lord. Some of these people were rebellious and did not want to answer His call.  All eventually did the Lord's will. Today, I will share scriptures which discuss that the Lord CALLED a man named Jonah.  He did not want to answer the Lord's call and ran away.  There were consequences to Jonah's actions.
