I heard a sermon Sunday about,"The 

Last Days.”The pastor said that there
would signs of  severe moral decay in 
our society. 
This was new information for me. I was inspired to investigate this further. 


 
LIFE LESSON:


GOD'S PROPHECY WILL BE FULFILLED: 




ISAIAH  46:10


Declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose.’


DANIEL  12:7


And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream; he raised his right hand and his left hand toward heaven and swore by him who lives forever that it would be for a time, times, and half a time, and that when the shattering of the power of the holy people comes to an end all these things would be finished.


MATTHEW 24:3


Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”


MARK 13:3

Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John, and Andrew asked Him privately.


LUKE  21:7


So they asked Him, saying, “Teacher, but when will these things be? And what sign will there be when these things are about to take place?”



ACTS  2:17

“‘And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.


HEBREWS 1:2

But in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.
 

2 PETER 3:8-13


8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as 
a thousand years, and a thousand
years as one day.
9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but
is longsuffering toward us, not willing
that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night,in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise,and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will
burned up.
11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness.
12 Looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God,because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on
fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a 
new earth in which righteousness dwells.

CALLED BY THE LORD, PART 6

DEPICTION OF JONAH RUNNING AWAY FROM THE LORD I was doing Bible study one night and it became clear to me that, Noah, Moses, Jonah, Deborah, Jael, Lydia, Seller of Purple, Rehab, The Twelve Disciples, and Paul were all CALLED by God. The Lord may require  some people to carry out a special task.There will be others that may be required to minister His Word and  travel around the world as a missionary.      This week I'll share scriptures about different men  and women that were called by the Lord. Some of these people were rebellious and did not want to answer His call.  All eventually did the Lord's will. Today, I will share scriptures which discuss that the Lord CALLED a man named Jonah.  He did not want to answer the Lord's call and ran away.  There were consequences to Jonah's actions. The Bible also tells us that the Lord is "not a respecter of persons"and accepts all who will respect him. It can be His will to use a harlot (prostitute)
