DON'T PERISH DUE TO DISOBEDIENCE:


DEUTERONOMY 19-20

19 Then it shall be, if you by any means forget the Lord your God,and follow other gods, and serve them and worship them,
I testify against you this day that you shall surely perish.
20 As the nations which the Lord destroys before you, so you shall perish, because you would not be obedient to the voice
of the Lord your God.


JOSHUA  23:16

When you have transgressed the
covenant of the Lord your God, 
which He commanded you, and 
have gone and served other gods,
and bowed down to them, then 
the anger of the Lord will burn 
against you, and you shall perish
quickly from the good land which
He has given you.”
 
JOB  6:18

The paths of their way turn aside, 
They go nowhere and perish.

JOB  8:13

So are the paths of all who forget 
God; And the hope of the hypocrite
shall perish,

But if they do not obey, They shall

CALLED BY THE LORD, PART 6

DEPICTION OF JONAH RUNNING AWAY FROM THE LORD I was doing Bible study one night and it became clear to me that, Noah, Moses, Jonah, Deborah, Jael, Lydia, Seller of Purple, Rehab, The Twelve Disciples, and Paul were all CALLED by God. The Lord may require  some people to carry out a special task.There will be others that may be required to minister His Word and  travel around the world as a missionary.      This week I'll share scriptures about different men  and women that were called by the Lord. Some of these people were rebellious and did not want to answer His call.  All eventually did the Lord's will. Today, I will share scriptures which discuss that the Lord CALLED a man named Jonah.  He did not want to answer the Lord's call and ran away.  There were consequences to Jonah's actions.
