I watched, "Guard Your Child's Heart" 
by Gary Smalley on Joni Table Talk 
this week-end. He was saying parents should guard their children’s hearts. 

I have always been troubled when 
I see children and teens in TV shows
about horror, witchcraft, and sorcery. Some parents may not be aware that darkness and evil things can affect the minds of  some children.  Some adults develop emotional issues after being actors in these types of roles.  It is 
not a surprise that some children 
may develop them too.
  

LIFE LESSON:

GODS SAYS AVOID WICKED & EVIL BEHAVIOR:
 

DEUTERONOMY 18:10-12

10 There shall not be found among 
you anyone who makes his son or 
his daughter pass through the fire,  
or one who practices witchcraft,or 
a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer,
11 or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who
calls up the dead.

12 For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord,and because
of these abominations the Lord your
God drives them out from before you.

 
1 SAMUEL 15:23

For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected
you from being king.”




2 KINGS 21:6


Also he made his son pass through the fire, practiced soothsaying, used witchcraft, and consulted spiritists and mediums. He did much evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke Him to anger.


CHRONICLES 33:6

Also he caused his sons to pass through the fire in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom; he practiced soothsaying, used witchcraft and sorcery, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke Him to anger.


JOB 12:22

He uncovers deep things out of darkness, And brings the shadow of death to light.







PSALM 107:14

He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, And broke their chains
in pieces.


PSALM 112:4

Unto the upright there arises light in
the darkness; He is gracious, and full 
of compassion, and righteous.

JOHN 3:19




And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.



JOHN 8:12



Then Jesus spoke to them again,
saying,“I am the light of the world.
He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”



ACTS 26:18



To open their eyes, in order to turn 
them from darkness to light, and  
from the power of Satan to God, that
they may receive forgiveness of sins 
and an inheritance among those who 
are sanctified by faith in Me.’

CALLED BY THE LORD, PART 6

DEPICTION OF JONAH RUNNING AWAY FROM THE LORD I was doing Bible study one night and it became clear to me that, Noah, Moses, Jonah, Deborah, Jael, Lydia, Seller of Purple, Rehab, The Twelve Disciples, and Paul were all CALLED by God. The Lord may require  some people to carry out a special task.There will be others that may be required to minister His Word and  travel around the world as a missionary.      This week I'll share scriptures about different men  and women that were called by the Lord. Some of these people were rebellious and did not want to answer His call.  All eventually did the Lord's will. Today, I will share scriptures which discuss that the Lord CALLED a man named Jonah.  He did not want to answer the Lord's call and ran away.  There were consequences to Jonah's actions.
