WHAT R U IN THE MIDST OF? #4

There is one word that I came  across often during my Bible Study. The word is, midst and it used over 300 times in the  Bible in different situations. 



This week I will share scriptures from the Old and New Testament  which describes how important  being in the midst was during the  Bible days.


LIFE LESSON:



ANGELS IN THE MIDST




EXODUS 3:2



And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed.



JUDGES 6:12



And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him, and said to him, “The Lord is with you, you mighty man of valor!”


MATTHEW 2:13


Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, “Arise, take the young Child and His mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I bring you word; for Herod will seek the young Child to destroy Him.”



LUKE 1:11

Then an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing on the right side of the altar of incense.




ACTS 7: 30 
 

“And when forty years had passed, an Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire in a bush, in the wilderness of Mount Sinai.





REVELATION 8:13


And I looked, and I heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, “Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!”


REVELATION 14:6

Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people—

CALLED BY THE LORD, PART 6

DEPICTION OF JONAH RUNNING AWAY FROM THE LORD I was doing Bible study one night and it became clear to me that, Noah, Moses, Jonah, Deborah, Jael, Lydia, Seller of Purple, Rehab, The Twelve Disciples, and Paul were all CALLED by God. The Lord may require  some people to carry out a special task.There will be others that may be required to minister His Word and  travel around the world as a missionary.      This week I'll share scriptures about different men  and women that were called by the Lord. Some of these people were rebellious and did not want to answer His call.  All eventually did the Lord's will. GET READY 4 NEW YEAR!

I am spending my days cleaning  up Christmas debris.  All of the Holiday food has been eaten and the tree must come down. I am considering how to make the year 2015 better. I am pondering how to continue to improve my Christian walk with God.  I'll be sharing scriptures this week that discuss a new day. These are scriptures I can stand on in 2015. Psalm 65:11 You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip with abundance. Psalm 90:12     So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom.
