NEW IN JESUS, #2

The word new makes me think of a new life, a new baby, new clothes, and a new house. Some people  may get images of  something  fresh , beautiful, or  perfect. 
 
I love the springtime because God
allows nature come alive.The trees
get new leaves on their branches. 
Plants get new blooms and flowers. 
The fragrant smell of magnolia and gardenia flowers can be intoxicating. 


The Bible uses the word "new" many times. The Lord created a new world 
for His children to live.  He has the 
power to make old things new again. 

This week I will share scriptures which discuss the relationship between the
Lord and things made new.

BLESSED " NEW " FAMILY MEMBERS


GENESIS 4: 25

And Adam knew his wife again, 
and she bore a son and named
him Seth,“For God has appointed 
another seed for me instead of 
Abel, whom Cain killed.”



 

DEUTERONOMY 24: 5



 “When a man has taken a new 
wife, he shall not go out to war
or be charged with any business;
he shall be free at home one year,
and bring happiness to his wife 
whom he has taken.

CALLED BY THE LORD, PART 6

DEPICTION OF JONAH RUNNING AWAY FROM THE LORD I was doing Bible study one night and it became clear to me that, Noah, Moses, Jonah, Deborah, Jael, Lydia, Seller of Purple, Rehab, The Twelve Disciples, and Paul were all CALLED by God. The Lord may require  some people to carry out a special task.There will be others that may be required to minister His Word and  travel around the world as a missionary.      This week I'll share scriptures about different men  and women that were called by the Lord. Some of these people were rebellious and did not want to answer His call.  All eventually did the Lord's will. Today, I will share scriptures which discuss that the Lord CALLED a man named Jonah.  He did not want to answer the Lord's call and ran away.  There were consequences to Jonah's actions.
