LIFE LESSON:

 KNOW WHO DIED FOR YOUR SINS!
1 JOHN 3: 4-5

 4 Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.
5 And you know that He was manifested
to take away our sins, and in Him there
is no sin.

LUKE 22: 14-16

14 When the hour had come, He sat
down, and the twelve  apostles with
Him.
15 Then He said to them, “With fervent desire I have desired to eat this Passover
with you before I suffer;
16 for I say to you, I will no longer eat of
it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.”

DEPICTION OF ADAM & EVE WITH THEIR CHILDREN I say thank you to PBS for featuring TV shows  on researching your family tree by Heny Louis Gates, Jr.  The show was called, "Finding Your Roots". I enjoyed this show and and eventually became very good at family tree research. Genealogy was important during Bible days and the Bible book of Genesis gives us several family trees. It took me a while to realize you need to  be careful where you get your advice from.  Motherly advice is good sometimes.Advice  from a friend can be useful too.Some people use a mentor or their pastor when they need serious counsel. In later years we learned to use the Bible as our guidebook on parenting, marriage, money,  and relationships. I prayed for the Lord to grant us His wisdom every day. The Bible was a perfect reference and guide because the scriptures are inspired by God.   My parents stressed that you had to chose your friends wisely.  They wouldn't like me be around  girls who had a bad reputation.  My brothers did not hang around boys who had criminal history. My parents were afraid they would influence us and make us rebellious.  Today I am sharing scriptures that describe good character traits for friends.  There are scriptures in the Bible that show  people who h...
