YES, JESUS LOVES ME!

Image
In 1999, I was very upset by the school shooting at Columbine High School. I  was  wondering why is this happening?  Did this happen  because prayer was taken  out of the schools? I know that saying morning prayer and pledging the allegiance to the flag in  elemenary  school made me a better student. I respected  my teachers and the principal.  I got along  with my classmates. I  did not  desire to shoot  the principal, teachers, or students at my school!     Now, parents must pray and read the Bible  to their children in their homes. These two tasks are longer  part of the of the teacher's lesson plans. In 2002 Jesus inspired me to began doing Christian picturebooks.   My first paperback picture book is  t itled,  "YES JESUS LOVES ME"  The pictures in this book communicate God's love. It demonstrates how He created  the earth, man,  an...

I CAN'T GET TOO MUCH GRACE!

Image
I have been watching The Gospel Truth series   on Balancing Faith and Grace.  Grace is  a gift from God which you don't have to  earn or do good works  to get it.  ( Ephesians 2: 8-9). It is a blessing to know that  I freely receive God's grace, mercy, and unconditional love.   Jesus told us to have faith in God (Mark 11: 22).  Having faith in God  is necessary for the healing of my diseases. (Mark  11: 22-24;  Matthew 21: 21).  My faith is strengthened when I think about all of  the blessings and healings I have received from God! There was mention of forgiveness  of sin in this series.   Jesus died on the cross for the sins of all men  ( Romans 5:8; 1 Corinthians 5:3: 1 John 2:2).   I am grieved when  I read about Jesus'  crown of thorns, mocking, spitting, flogging, nailing  of  His hands and feet to the cross,  and the piercing of His side ...

PESTS ARE SO AGGRAVATING!

Image
https://www.bugs.com NOTE: PLEASE OVERLOOK THE FONT ISSUES;  COULDN'T FIX IT !  I was doing a Bible word search puzzle  and the theme was, GOD'S  MIRACLES  THROUGH MOSES.  I suddenly realized  something,  as I circled the plagues, pests are so aggravating! I recalled enjoying being outside until the pests started flying around you. I had these tiny light green tree frogs  on my door in the summertime. My  siste r and son hated them. I had to knock them off of the door before they would enter the house. https://www.businessinsider.com Exodus 8: 3 & 5 3 And the river shall bring forth frogs abundantly, which shall go up and come into thine house, and into thy bedchamber, and upon thy bed, and into the house of thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thine ovens, and into thy kneading troughs. 5 And the Lord spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch forth thine hand...

SAVORING THE WORD OF GOD!

Image
NOTE: PLEASE OVERLOOK THE FONT ISSUES; CAN'T GET THEM CORRECTED! I hear God's Word from my pastor at  church  on Sunday. I also have a few favorite pastors  that I watch on T.V.  Therefore, I come home  and watch  them on Youtube on Sunday  afternoon. After all,  you can't get too much  of the Word of  God! I have noticed a new trend from some  of the TV ministers' programs. There are comments on the bottom of the  screen.   while they are giving their  sermons.   I dislike this trend. It can  be distracting for  me.  I know it  only take a few seconds  to read these messages; however, it  offends me.  I can be informed about their speaking engagement,  donations,  books, and CDs at the end of  the program.  I am trying to concentrate  on the sermon ...

GREETING!

JAMES 2: 1-3 & 8-9 My brothers, have faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, without partiality.  2  For if a man with a gold ring, in fine clothing, comes into your assembly, and also a poor man in ragged clothing comes in,  3  and you have respect for him who wears the fine clothing and say to him, “Sit here in a good place,” and say to the poor, “Stand there,” or “Sit here under my footstool. 8 If you fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing well.  9  But if you show partiality, you are committing sin and are convicted by the law as sinners.
