I
was doing a Bible word search puzzle
and the theme was, GOD'S MIRACLES
THROUGH MOSES. I
suddenly realized
something, as I circled the plagues,
pests are so aggravating! I recalled
enjoying being outside until
the pests
started flying around you.
I
had these tiny light green tree frogs
on my door in the summertime.
My
sister and son hated them. I had to
knock them off of the door
before
they would enter the house.
Exodus
8: 3 & 5

And the river shall bring forth frogs abundantly, which shall go up
and come into thine house, and into thy bedchamber, and upon thy bed,
and into the house of thy servants, and upon thy people, and into
thine ovens, and into thy kneading troughs.

And the Lord spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch forth thine
hand with thy rod over the streams, over the rivers, and over the
ponds, and cause frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt.
Farmers
can tell you what locust can do
to garden crops. Remember
the state of
Kansas' story about locusts demolishing fields of crops and
leaving the bare ground. They even ate the wool from
live sheep and
clothing off people's
backs, and the bark off trees.

And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the land of
Egypt for the locusts, that they may come up upon the land of Egypt,
and eat every herb of the land, even all that the hail hath left.

For they covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was
darkened, and they did eat every herb of the land, and all the fruit
of the trees... and there remained not any
green thing in the trees, or in the herbs of the field, through all
the land of Egypt.
I recall getting Alert letters from my children's elementary school
children
if a child had lice. What
if everyone you knew had lice like the scriptures in the Bible?!

I
love to take the family on picnics. We would have fun until the flies started swarming around our food. I even tried
plastic bags with water to run them away.
It seemed to work.

And
the Lord did so; and there came a grievous swarm of flies into the
house of Pharaoh, and into his servants' houses, and into all the
land of Egypt: the land was corrupted by reason of the swarm of
flies.
The plague of these pests during Bible days must have been a horrifying
experience. I tried to envision flies,
lice, and frogs covering everything.
I wonder how people in the world today would handle this type of situation?
I
for one would not be calling on my government for help.
I
would be on my knees praying to God!
Revelation 6: 15-17
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
