NUMBERS14:9

Lord is with us. Do not fear them.
Only do not rebel against the Lord,
nor fear the people of the land, for 
they are our bread; their protection

DEUTERONOMY 1:21

Look, the Lord your God has set the land before you; go up and possess it, as the Lord God of your fathers has spoken to you; do not fear or be discouraged.’

DEUTERONOMY  3:2, 22

2 And the Lord said to me, ‘Do not fear him, for I have delivered him and all his people and his land into your hand; you shall do to him as you did to Sihon king 
of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon.’
 
22 You must not fear them, for the Lord your God Himself fights for you.’




JUDGES 6:23, 27

23 Then the Lord said to him, “Peace be with you; do not fear, you shall not die.”

27 So Gideon took ten men from among 
his servants and did as the Lord had said to him. But because he feared his father’s household and the men of the city too much to do it by day, he did it by night.


EZRA 3:3

Though fear had come upon them because of the people of those countries, they set the altar on its bases; and they offered burnt offerings on it to the Lord, both the morning and evening burnt offerings.

CALLED BY THE LORD, PART 6

DEPICTION OF JONAH RUNNING AWAY FROM THE LORD I was doing Bible study one night and it became clear to me that, Noah, Moses, Jonah, Deborah, Jael, Lydia, Seller of Purple, Rehab, The Twelve Disciples, and Paul were all CALLED by God. The Lord may require  some people to carry out a special task.There will be others that may be required to minister His Word and  travel around the world as a missionary.      This week I'll share scriptures about different men  and women that were called by the Lord. Some of these people were rebellious and did not want to answer His call.  All eventually did the Lord's will. Today, I will share scriptures which discuss that the Lord CALLED a man named Jonah.  He did not want to answer the Lord's call and ran away.  There were consequences to Jonah's actions.
