DEPICTION OF ADAM & EVE WITH THEIR CHILDREN I say thank you to PBS for featuring TV shows  on researching your family tree by Heny Louis Gates, Jr.  The show was called, "Finding Your Roots". I enjoyed this show and and eventually became very good at family tree research. Genealogy was important during Bible days and the Bible book of Genesis gives us several family trees. I am spending my days cleaning  up Christmas debris.  All of the Holiday food has been eaten and the tree must come down. I am considering how to make the year 2015 better. I am pondering how to continue to improve my Christian walk with God.  I'll be sharing scriptures this week that discuss a new day. These are scriptures I can stand on in 2015. Psalm 65:11 You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip with abundance. Psalm 90:12     So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom.

DEPICTION OF RAHAB OF JERICHO I was doing Bible study one night and it became clear to me that, Noah, Moses, Jonah, Deborah, Jael, Lydia, Seller of Purple, Rehab, The Twelve Disciples, and Paul were all CALLED by God. The Lord may require  some people to carry out a special task.There will be others that may be required to minister His Word and  travel around the world as a missionary.   This week I'll share scriptures about different men  and women that were called by the Lord. Some of these people were rebellious and did not want to answer His call.  All eventually did the Lord's will.
