GET READY 4 NEW YEAR!

I am spending my days cleaning 
 up Christmas debris. All of the  
Holiday food has been eaten and   
the tree must come down.

I am considering how to make the
 year 2015 better. I am pondering  
how to continue to improve my
 Christian walk with God. 


I'll be sharing scriptures this week
that discuss a new day. These are 
scriptures I can stand on in 2015.

ECCLESIASTES 3:1         

To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:

ISAIAH  43:18-19

18 “Do not remember the former things,
Nor consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing,
Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert.

CALLED BY THE LORD, PART 6

DEPICTION OF JONAH RUNNING AWAY FROM THE LORD I was doing Bible study one night and it became clear to me that, Noah, Moses, Jonah, Deborah, Jael, Lydia, Seller of Purple, Rehab, The Twelve Disciples, and Paul were all CALLED by God. The Lord may require  some people to carry out a special task.There will be others that may be required to minister His Word and  travel around the world as a missionary.      This week I'll share scriptures about different men  and women that were called by the Lord. Some of these people were rebellious and did not want to answer His call.  All eventually did the Lord's will. Today, I will share scriptures which discuss that the Lord CALLED a man named Jonah.  He did not want to answer the Lord's call and ran away.  There were consequences to Jonah's actions.
