A SONG IN MY HEART, PART 4

I am not a member of the church choir.  I can 
carry a tune,  but prefer to sing in the shower 
and car.  My mom can play the piano and likes 
to sing hymns when she plays.None of my three
siblings care about singing. I do not even recall
hearing them even try to sing any songs.

I learned when I was researching music and 
singing in the Bible,  that the Lord sings too!

ZEPHANIAH  3:17


The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One,
will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over
you with singing.”

The Bible mentions specific people.who sang to the Lord. Here are some of them:


JUDGES  5:1

Then Deborah and Barak the son of Abinoam sang
on that day, saying...

JUDGES  5:12
“Awake, awake, Deborah! Awake, awake, sing a
song! Arise, Barak, and lead your captives away,
O son of Abinoam!


1 SAMUEL  18:6
... that the women had come out of all the cities of Israel,
singing and dancing...


 2 SAMUEL  22: 1 

Then David spoke to the Lord the words of this song,
on the day when the Lord had delivered him from the
hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul.


1 CHRONICLES  13:8

Then David and all Israel played music before
God with all their might...


2 CHRONICLES 23:18

...the Levites, whom David
had assigned in the house of the Lord,
to offer the burnt offerings of the Lord,
as it is written in the  Law of Moses,
with rejoicing and with singing,


2 CHRONICLES  35:25

Jeremiah also lamented for Josiah. And to this day
all the singing men and the singing women speak
of Josiah in their lamentations. They made it a
custom in Israel; and indeed they are written in
the Laments.


LUKE  2:13 -14

13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude
of the heavenly host praising God and saying:
14 “Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”


REVELATION  15:3   
They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God,
and the song of the Lamb, saying...
