LIFE LESSON : BARREN WOMEN
IN THE BIBLE
There
are women in the Bible who
were barren. They could not
have children. This type of problem could marr the reputation of a woman in Biblical times. The main role of a woman
in Bible times was to bare
and raise children. Most of us have heard of barren women like
Sarah
and Hannah. I was told years ago,
that there are some
married women who repeat Hannah’s Prayer when
they have fertility issues. This
was
the prayer Hannah prayed to God
when she wanted to be healed.
This week I'll feature daily scriptures
which tells us about barren women in the Bible. These
women learned that faith in God and patience were the
keys to getting their blessings.

ISAIAH 54:1, 4

Than the children of the married woman,” says the Lord.
4 “Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed; Neither be disgraced,
for you will not be put to shame;
For you will forget the shame of
your youth...
