LIFE LESSON FOR TODAY

LESSON FOR TODAY I have been hearing sermons on TV and at  church about,"Jesus Is Coming Back Soon"  for several years.   There have even been  some pastors trying to give us the day that   this will happen. Each predicted date always  passes with this great event  never occurring. The Bible book 2 Peter 3 says: ...that with the Lord one day is as a  thousand years. Wow, I'm still trying to let this sink in my brain. This week I'll give scriptures which talk  this subject. The scriptures below show that Jesus' disciples were curious about this also. Jesus always wanted them to  focus on their preparation for the Lord's return.  Would they be ready and would  the Lord say to them,  " Well done my  faithful servant?"   ACTS  1:6-7 6 Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying,  “Lord, will You at  this time restore the kingdom to Israel?”    7  And He sai
