EPHESIANS 2:8
For by grace you have been saved
through faith,
and that not of yourselves;
it is the gift of God,
LUKE
17:6
So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed,
you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled
up by the roots and be planted in
the sea,’ and
it would obey you.
HISTORICAL CONTEXT
Noah is an example of a man in the
Bible who had
true faith. Genesis 6 tells us he followed the Lord’s
instructions for building the ark. He built the ark in spite of lack of rain and
ridicule from the people.
LIFE LESSON FOR TODAY
I receive a catalog in the mail monthly
and it
sells items for crafts. I saw an egg craft kit
called Colors of Faith.
You build an egg from
Colored Strips of felt with words on it. The
words tell you what each color represents.
Red means faith in the Blood of Jesus.
Orange
is for faith in God’s promises.
Yellow is for God’s perfect
light.
Green is for new life in God.
Blue is for our baptism that
identifies
us with God.
White is for cleansing g sins and forgiveness.
Black
is for our sins.
Purple is for God is King and crown of life.
My faith in God is very important and I exercis
it every day.
