BLESSED APPEARANCE!

I am not distrustful of the Bible scriptures that  read, " The glory of the Lord appeared
and filled the room.  I believe "The Word"
is true. I just wish I had been present
when these events happened.  

 My church choir sings a song called, 
"Holy Spirit You Are Welcome Here! "
I love hearing this beautiful song. Sometimes the atmosphere in our 
church services becomes euphoric. 
People seem to be filled with joy
and are jumping and applauding.

 Today's scriptures discuss what 
happened when The Glory of the 
Lord appeared to people.





LIFE LESSON:



THE GLORY OF THE LORD APPEARED!




LEVITICUS 9: 6 & 23


6 Then Moses said, “This is the thing which the Lord commanded you to do, and the glory of the Lord will appear to you.”

23 And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of meeting, and came out
and blessed the people. Then the glory 
of the Lord appeared to all the people. 

 

NUMBERS 14:10



And all the congregation said to
stone them with stones. Now the
glory of the Lord appeared in the tabernacle of meeting before all
the children of Israel.



NUMBERS 16: 19 & 42



19 And Korah gathered all the congregation against them at the door of the tabernacle of meeting. Then the glory of the Lord appeared to all the congregation.


42 Now it happened, when the congregation had gathered against 
Moses and Aaron, that they turned 
toward the tabernacle of meeting; 
and suddenly the cloud covered it,
and the glory of the Lord appeared.




NUMBERS 20:6


So Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly to the door 
of the tabernacle of meeting, and they
fell on their faces. And the glory of the Lord appeared to them.




ISAIAH 40:5


The glory of the Lord shall be revealed, 
And all flesh shall see it together; For 
the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”




EZEKIEL 1: 28




Like the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. So when I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of One speaking.





   

EZEKIEL11:22-23

22 So the cherubim lifted up their wings, with the wheels beside them, and the glory of the God of Israel was high above them


23 And the glory of the Lord went up from the midst of the city and stood on the mountain, which is on the east side of the city.

CALLED BY THE LORD, PART 6

DEPICTION OF JONAH RUNNING AWAY FROM THE LORD I was doing Bible study one night and it became clear to me that, Noah, Moses, Jonah, Deborah, Jael, Lydia, Seller of Purple, Rehab, The Twelve Disciples, and Paul were all CALLED by God. The Lord may require  some people to carry out a special task.There will be others that may be required to minister His Word and  travel around the world as a missionary.      This week I'll share scriptures about different men  and women that were called by the Lord. Some of these people were rebellious and did not want to answer His call.  All eventually did the Lord's will. Today, I will share scriptures which discuss that the Lord CALLED a man named Jonah.  He did not want to answer the Lord's call and ran away.  There were consequences to Jonah's actions.
