FAMOUS MOTHER & SON, PART 1

-







I have often wondered about the relationship between Mary and her 
son Jesus. This mother and son are infamous because their relationship 
is nontraditional.There are  supernatural elements involved.

I am sharing my thoughts on this matter after praying  and  doing Bible study.

LIFE LESSON:

MARY'S PREGNANCY WAS UNIQUE


MATTHEW 1:18


…Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit.

LUKE 1:30-31, 34-35

30 Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.
31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus.

34 Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?” 35 And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.

LUKE 1: 42 & 45

42 Then she spoke out with a loud voice and said, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb!
45 Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord.”

11 For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
12 And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”


16 And they came with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the Babe lying in a manger.
17 Now when they had seen Him, they made widely known the saying which was told them concerning this Child.
18 And all those who heard it marveled at those things which were told them by the shepherds.

22 Now when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were completed, they brought Him (JESUS) to Jerusalem to present Him to the Lord.



27 So he ( SIMEON) came by the Spirit into the temple. And when the parents brought in the Child Jesus, to do for Him according to the custom of the law,

28 He took Him up in his arms and blessed God

CALLED BY THE LORD, PART 6

DEPICTION OF JONAH RUNNING AWAY FROM THE LORD I was doing Bible study one night and it became clear to me that, Noah, Moses, Jonah, Deborah, Jael, Lydia, Seller of Purple, Rehab, The Twelve Disciples, and Paul were all CALLED by God. The Lord may require  some people to carry out a special task.There will be others that may be required to minister His Word and  travel around the world as a missionary.      This week I'll share scriptures about different men  and women that were called by the Lord. Some of these people were rebellious and did not want to answer His call.  All eventually did the Lord's will. Today, I will share scriptures which discuss that the Lord CALLED a man named Jonah.  He did not want to answer the Lord's call and ran away.  There were consequences to Jonah's actions. Today, I'll share scriptures which show how  a prostitute named  Rahab was used to help  Joshua's spies. Joshua, son of Nun, became  the ruler for the Israelites after Moses died. The Bible also tells us that the Lord is "not a respecter of persons"and accepts all who will respect him. It can be His will to use a harlot (prostitute)
