There are steps to beginning a dynamic relationship with, “Your Father who art 
in heaven.” I discovered that I must pray

In a quiet place free from distractions. 
I must be able to pray with my heart

and soul.

DEUTERONOMY 4:29 


But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.



DEUTERONOMY 10:12  



“And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.



DEUTERONOMY 30:2  


And you return to the Lord your God and obey His voice, according to all that I command you today, you and your children, with all your heart and with all your soul.



JOSHUA 22:5 


But take careful heed to do the commandment and the law which 
Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, to love the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, to keep His commandments, to hold fast to Him, and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul.”


JOSHUA 23:14   


“Behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth. And you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spoke concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one word of them has failed.

CALLED BY THE LORD, PART 6

DEPICTION OF JONAH RUNNING AWAY FROM THE LORD I was doing Bible study one night and it became clear to me that, Noah, Moses, Jonah, Deborah, Jael, Lydia, Seller of Purple, Rehab, The Twelve Disciples, and Paul were all CALLED by God. The Lord may require  some people to carry out a special task.There will be others that may be required to minister His Word and  travel around the world as a missionary.      This week I'll share scriptures about different men  and women that were called by the Lord. Some of these people were rebellious and did not want to answer His call.  All eventually did the Lord's will. Today, I will share scriptures which discuss that the Lord CALLED a man named Jonah.  He did not want to answer the Lord's call and ran away.  There were consequences to Jonah's actions.
