PRECEPT STUDY HELPFUL
DEUTERONOMY  17:19

And it shall be with him, and he
shall read it all the days of his life,
that he may learn to fear the Lord
his God and be careful to observe
all the words of this law and these
statutes.

JOSHUA 8:34

the law, the blessings and the cursings, according to all that is written in the 
Book of the Law.

2 CHRONICLES

The king went up to the house of 
the Lord,with all the men of Judah 
and the inhabitants of Jerusalem—

of the Book of the Covenant which
had been found in the house of the 
Lord.

NEHEMIAH  8:8

So they read distinctly from the 
book,in the Law of God; and they
gave the sense,and helped them
to understand the reading.

JEREMIAH  36:6

You go, therefore, and read from
the scroll which you have written
at my instruction,the words of the 
Lord, in the hearing of the people 
in the Lord’s house on the day of 
fasting.  And you shall also read 
them in the hearing of all Judah 
who come from their cities.

CALLED BY THE LORD, PART 6

DEPICTION OF JONAH RUNNING AWAY FROM THE LORD I was doing Bible study one night and it became clear to me that, Noah, Moses, Jonah, Deborah, Jael, Lydia, Seller of Purple, Rehab, The Twelve Disciples, and Paul were all CALLED by God. The Lord may require  some people to carry out a special task.There will be others that may be required to minister His Word and  travel around the world as a missionary.      This week I'll share scriptures about different men  and women that were called by the Lord. Some of these people were rebellious and did not want to answer His call.  All eventually did the Lord's will. Today, I will share scriptures which discuss that the Lord CALLED a man named Jonah.  He did not want to answer the Lord's call and ran away.  There were consequences to Jonah's actions.
