PAINTING: THE MARRIAGE FEAST AT CANA IN GALILE BY VASILI NESTERENKO My family members came, gave thanks, ate, and were happy. Some left to do some Black Friday shopping. The rest of them went home to sleep. I got up and did the dishes as my way of warding off sleep from my holiday feasting. The Bible discusses food in figurative and literal terms. You have to study to figure out when it mentions seed time and harvest time. Most of us enjoyed a feast full of delicious food to celebrate Thanksgiving Day. Today, I look at scriptures that mention people breaking bread together at feasts and other gatherings.
