LIFE LESSON FOR TODAY

I was talking to my friend last  Thursday and she said, " Happy  Palm Sunday!".  I thanked her for the greeting but felt embarrassed  because I had forgotten this holiday.  I asked for the Lord's forgiveness.   I remembered to  place my Easter  wreath on my front door.  I also  made a purple floral arrangement  for my deck railing.  The pastor's  wife usually passes out faux palm leaves at the Palm Sunday morning service.   I am sharing some scriptures that explain why some churches and synagogues all over the world will celebrate Palm Sunday.   LIFE LESSON: THE MULTITUDES HONOR JESUS! I love to sit on my porch, read  scriptures, and look at the birds before the heat of the day arrives. The heat of the day can be soothing in the spring and fall.  The intense  heat of the day during the summer  is nourishing for my garden plants.  It is unhealthy for me to be in the  heat of the day when the mercury reads 90 degrees! I have learned  to balance my activities with the heat of the day. The people in the Bible also understood about the heat. I  hear the question, "Can I help you?" several times when I go shopping. It  seems that more sales clerk say it  more often now. The retail market  is very competitive so most stores  are improving their customer service. Things have changed so much. There   are few places in the church that are considered Holy.    I still respect the sanctuary and pulpit at my church. I like knowing that   I am able to keep something sacred  in this wicked world.
